The Little Proteges is an 8 week training program designed to teach fundamental movement and basketball skills for boys and girls - ages 5 to 10. The goal is to plant strong foundations at an early age by building healthy habits through learning, consistent repetition, and application. You don't want to compromise healthy habits just to obtain a goal faster because it will leave the door open for bad habits that will be more difficult to break down the road.
THE LITTLE PROTEGES PROGRAM
Session 1 - 9am to 10am - Ages 5 to 6 (Boys and Girls)
Session 2 - 10am to 11am - Ages 7 to 8 (Boys and Girls)
Session 3 - 11am to 12pm - Ages 9 to 10 (Boys and Girls)
February/March Program Dates:
February - 4, 11, 18, 25
March - 4, 11, 18, 25
- Footwork (stationary, moving, balance)
- Passing (chest, bounce, pass fake)
- Dribbling (stationary, speed dribble, change directions)
- Shooting (hand placement, proper form)
- Defense (slide, cross step, close out)
For current participants, payment will be due on the last Saturday session of the current program to continue for the next scheduled program. For new participants, once invitation has been sent and the spot has been confirmed, payment will be due on the first Saturday session of the program.
Each participant to bring their own basketball and water (mask is optional).
